Each knight created a castle to be not only beautiful, but also the strongest castle of defense ever built. It includes a well, gardens, and food storage facilities and also holds approximately 100 serfs, 25 soldiers in residence, a household staff of about 20 people, and approximately 10 family members.  In addition, each part of a castle is labeled:

1. moat
2. drawbridge & portcullis
3. outer gatehouse
4. guardroom
5. garderobe or latrine
6. Outer ward
7. dormitory
8. kitchen garden
9. Great Hall
10. Chapel
11. great chamber
12. turret
13. postern gate
14. bailey
15. donjon or keep
16. stable

We hope you enjoy viewing our projects as much as we enjoyed creating them!
